    Deceiving. NOT METAL as advertised. .

    Simple fraud. The pictures indicate a brushed metal lower section, but it fact it is a very shiny, chrome like plating over plastic. It does have heft to it, but only because they’ve added a coiled wire insert to simulate the weight and balance of a metal bodied pen. The only truly metal parts are the spring, the click button cap, the aforementioned internal coil weight. I’d skip this one if any of that matters to you.

    plastic garbage..

    at first i really liked these and thought they were a remake of a pen i really liked.. then got them.. they are plastic, not metal.. and … they are nothing more than plastic garbage unfortunately…. the ink ran out on all 6 of my pens within 2 weeks… then they will be working for 3 min then stop.. and you have to do little whatever things to get the ink running again…

    Not metal :/

    Ok, I wondered why these were so inexpensive. So NOT metal. I was sooo disappointed! Not going to return because they will work for good “plastic” clicker pens. They are more like plastic that has been coated with plating. You sometimes see that in cheap jewelry or beads. Otherwise, write very well and pretty smooth.

    No ink after a week or two

    A friend gave me these pens a few years ago, bought at World Market, and I liked them so much that I wanted to get another set when I started a new job. I don’t know who the seller is but two of three have already run out of ink after only a week or two of use, or it has dried up. Very disappointed in the quality.

    VERY CUTE & WRITE WELL

    Poor Man’s Parker Jotter

    I love these pens, because they are basically a metal version of the Bic Clic retractable pen. Although they use a generic pen refill, the ink is smooth and the pen looks great and I love the Silver, Gold and Copper colors. This pen can compete (in my opinion) with any Parker or Cross ballpoint and you just can’t beat the price.

    Wanted to love these

    Pros: Cool look (love the metallic), click top is very satisfying, and they write well… when they work.Cons: Ink skips. Problems arose within the first hour of use, and seems to recur consistently. They’re lighter weight than I wanted them to be, also, but ultimately I’d be willing to overlook that if they wrote well. Guess I’ll be returning 🙁

    Write like Tippi Hedren in “The Birds” or Audrey Hepburn in “Breakfast at Tiffany’s”!

    Lovely pens in festive barrel colors, loaded with bank-standard fine-point black ink. They write like a dream and feel substantial in one’s hand – something I often find lacking in newer styled pens. And as if that wasn’t enough reason to buy these pens, THEY ARE REFILLABLE! All in all a great value. Buy these immediately or face the consequences of being sans pen when circumstances call for a retro-cool, stylish writing instrument to sign important papers.

    Like Shiny Metal Bic Clics

    These are great pens for the price. They look gorgeous and the mechanism is just like the old Bic Clic, my all-time favorite mass-made pen. They are so nice-looking that I use them as mini-recognition gifts for my team at work. They are eye-catching, reliable and tremendously functional.

    Great pens but they are NOT metal

    I was looking for an actual metal body for a clic bic style pen. I was hoping this was it, but for 8 dollars I’m not surprised these are just metallic plastic. That being said, they do have a coiled piece of wire inside the body that provides a nice weight. They’re refillable and pretty classy looking, though the color combos could be better. Not 100% what I was looking for, but for the price they’re great.

    Looks good, writes smoothly

    Got the set of 3 full-size metal retro pens. They really are beautiful in person, looking way more expensive than they really are. They write smoothly and feel good when you hold them. Have used mine for a few weeks only so not sure how it will hold up in the long run, but for the price it’s been a classy way to carry around an affordable ballpoint.

    wanted to love these pens so much, but…

    so i LOVE these pens! they are cute and they write really nicely, BUT i have had them for less than 6 months and the ink of all 3 pens has dried up. i don’t mean it ran out, but it literally dried up. i can see that there is plenty left in there, but i can’t seem to get the pens to write. unfortunately, you cannot refill them either. i really wish i could say these were a good purchase, but they just don’t last long enough for me. i’m a nurse and a good pen is worth its weight in gold and these just didn’t make the cut

    Good pens, will take a refill with a little creativity.

    I love the way these look, write, and function. They have an appealing color and write smoothly. These pens are nice and write great, though it was difficult add a new refill. I was able to when I pulled the metal part out with a pair of pliers, and then the insert fit just fine after I got the metal part out, and put the new insert in with the metal part. They run out of ink fast. Bought these hoping to be able to refill them so I wouldn’t have to keep buying them. Sound Feel inserts work with some creativity.

    If this were A single pen, it wouldn’t be worth the cost.

    I disliked these pens because they are in fact not made of metal. They are plastic body pens that just have a metalic looking surface. In addition when writing I could feel the pens scratching along the paper with every letter unless I wrote with the pen straight up and down. While they look pretty at a distance, the fact that they feel cheap when writing and looking closely at them means that I am disappointed with the purchase.
